Parents out of work, living in rented apt...need some basics

There are so many children out there that are not fortunate enough to be able to have a fun holiday season.  Some are sick, some have parents out of work, some have no parents, some are homeless and the list goes on and on.  Many of them are not asking for accessories such as Nintendos and video games, but rather are asking for socks, pants, boots and other basic items that many of us take for granted each and every day.  We will be posting some letters from children and parents over the next few days and hope that we can all contribute to help make each one of their holidays special.  Below is one of the letters from a child that we plan to help this year.  Please give as much as you can to making their holiday's special.

Here is a letter written by Leonarda:

Dear Santa,

This is the first time I write to you Santa.  I am a mother of 2 girls of 11 and 9 years old.  Santa, we are living in a rented room and my situation it's not so good because my husband is sick and he cant go to work.

Santa, this Christmas Im asking you to help me to get some presents for my girls.  They also need some toys to.  Their sizes are 7 in pants, XL or 13/14 in sweater or size 7.5 in shoes.  pants medium or 7/8 in sweater or size 3 in shoes.  Santa I also would like to get a coat for them because the one that they have is a little bit old.

Santa i want to say thankyou and I want to wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
